25th March 2009 - Innovation Fund Panel
MAXNetwork is very pleased to have been selected by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) for appointment to the Innovation Fund Panel. The Innovation Fund has been established to fund innovative place-based solutions, to address barriers to employment for groups of most disadvantaged job seekers. These groups include, but are not limited to, people in areas with entrenched disadvantage, the homeless and those at risk of homelessness, people with mental health conditions, Indigenous Australians and job seekers in jobless families.
The Innovation Fund seeks to develop solutions for disadvantaged job seekers that would ultimately lead to obtaining and sustaining employment. Innovation Fund projects will help achieve the Australian Government's Social Inclusion Agenda by supporting innovative strategies that help disadvantaged job seekers find employment.
MAXNetWork has a strong track record of delivering programs and services that assist long term unemployed to re-enter the workforce. Our goal is "finding jobs and changing lives". With this goal in mind, MAXNetwork has developed a range of innovative programs that we will be submitting to DEEWR for consideration for funding from the Innovation Fund. In delivering these programs, MAXNetWork will partner with a range of community and government organisations. Should you wish to discuss any of our programs, then please contact Michelle Crosby on (work phone) or email: michelle.crosby@maximussolutions.com.au
