MAXNetwork acquires business in UK
MAXNetWork is very pleased to announce that Rich Montoni (CEO MAXIMUS) and Michael Hobday (Managing Director, MAXNetWork) signed a contract on 4th August, 2008 to buy West Country Training and Consultancy Services (WTCS) Limited in the UK. This represents a new milestone in the internationalisation of MAXIMUS and provides an exciting opportunity to pursue significant business in the UK and greater European Community market.
WTCS was established in 1991, it operates primarily in the south west corner of England (Devon and Cornwall counties). It has around 155 staff and operates in 15 different locations.
WTCS services include: employment advice, rehabilitation and work preparation, research and development of employment projects, and training courses for people with specific employment needs (including disabled people and offenders).
WTCS has been purchased through a UK based company which will operate as MAXIMUS Employment and will be a subsidiary of MAXNetWork Pty Ltd, Australia.
