Following the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations decision to award MAX Employment two further contracts this week, MAX Employment now takes the title as Australia’s largest provider of employment related services.
MAX Employment Managing Director Michael Hobday said “This has been a very exciting year for our company. Our success is testament to our model of service that focuses not only on employment but also the health of our job seekers and their training needs.”
“Because of the success of our model the Federal Government has now awarded MAX Employment with two additional contracts, the Disability Employment Services contract and the Green Jobs Corp contract” he said.
The Disability Employment Services contract will allow MAX Employment to assist some 1600 disabled job seekers across the country into employment.
Mr Hobday said “Assisting disabled workers find safe and secure employment is a challenge.”
“We have aligned our services with the Federal Government’s National Mental Health and Disability Employment Strategy and will be working closely with employers and community organisations to supply education and training pathways for people with disabilities as a means to secure sustainable employment” he said.
Our Green Jobs Corps program will see us find green work experience places for 1730 people over the next 2 years. This contract will see MAX Employment assist in providing a real contribution to Australia’s environment.
“In addition to our ongoing contracts with the Australian Government these contracts now lift MAX Network up to be the largest provider of employment related services in Australia” Mr Hobday said.
“Our model focuses on working closely with businesses so we can match people with the right skills and experience to employer’s requirements. This approach means our job seekers not only find a job but stay in that job for the long term.”
“The success of this model has ensured strong growth for MAX Network this year. I would like to thank the Australian Government for the faith they have put in us and our staff for their hard work and dedication.”
“MAX Network will be working hard in 2010 to build on growth and work closely with our community partners to find sustainable outcomes for our clients” Mr Hobday said.
