MAX Employment is ready to open for business and to offer our proven model of integrated employment, health and training services as part of the Government’s Job Services Australia contract from 1 July 2009.
More than 400 staff have been recruited, 40 new offices are ready to open, and we are in the process of making more than 60,000 appointments for job seekers under the new contract.
“The new Job Services Australia model provides a great opportunity to improve the employment opportunities for Australians” said Michael Hobday, MAX Employment’s Managing Director.
“While the current economic climate means that we will face challenges, we believe that the new model will work well to overcome them. As a company, we are at the starting line, and set to go” he said.
“As one of Australia’s longest serving and highest performing providers of Government employment services, we are ready to get on with the task of making a real difference in the lives of our job seekers, by finding jobs, changing lives” he said.
“Our multi-disciplinary team of health, training and employment specialists have had great successes in our current locations, and we are looking forward to replicating that success by working closely with local employers, community based organisations, local councils and chambers of commerce in our new locations.”
MAX Employment will now operate from 73 full time sites and 34 outreach sites in every state and territory in Australia.
